I'm a Brooklyn-based playwright and puppetmaker working in theater and film. I write, direct, design, and create cross-disciplinary works, often in collaboration with other artists. As a writer, I meditate on shared experiences of hope, suffering, and snack foods among all living beings.

My work has been supported by the Franklin Furnace Grant, a Jerome Fellowship Alternate Grant, the NYFA Playwriting/Screenwriting Grant, and funding from Loghaven and The Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.

My plays have been performed at venues including St. Ann’s Warehouse, Mana Contemporary, The Arts Center on Governors Island, and New Perspectives Theatre. Even if you live in New York, you probably don’t know what these places are, and that is fine by me!! Please invite me to your city or local tree-hole and help me add something familiar to the list.

Currently, I’m working on a project called Transmissions from the Ancient Forest, a series of videos that chronicle the lives of lesser gods. Every month, they issue a book of blessings over on Patreon. After a year of these books, we’ll have an Almanac of Blessings for all seasons.

In the future, I hope to expand this project into a live performance and a full-length illustrated book. If you’d like to be a part of growing the Ancient Forest, please be in touch!
